Nashville’s Edley’s Bar-B-Que Will Be Opening In Jacksonville In The Spring

Nashville restaurant Edley’s Bar-B-Que announced that it has chosen Jacksonville for its first Florida location and will transform a former gas station property into a restaurant near the historic Ortega neighborhood on the westside . They are expected to open in the Spring of 2018.
The 2,600-square-foot space is at 5344 Ortega Blvd. at Roosevelt Boulevard near the intersection of Timuquana Road iin a former gas station that closed in 2009.
Edley’s said it plans to provide a large indoor dining area and an open patio.and will offer a selection of local craft beers.
Edley’s Bar-B-Que is a family-owned business, named after the owner’s grandfather, Edley Newman. Edley’s Bar-B-Que has three Nashville locations as well as one in Lexington, Ky., and another opening in October in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The restaurant offers traditional barbecue menu items, such as brisket platters and pork sandwiches, as well as Mexican-inspired meals like catfish tacos and barbecue nachos.
