Bella Vita, one of the world's 100 largest yachts is currently docked on the North Bank River Walk, and obviously caught our attention. The enormous mega yacht is nearly 250 feet long and costs about $650,000 to charter for a week in the winter, according to broker Moran Yacht and Ship. The yacht can accommodate 12 passengers between its 6 staterooms and 6 decks, and a staff of 22.

On board, there is a hot tub, gym, movie theater, piano, water skis, wave runners, scuba gear and even a salon and spa on board. Bella Vita delivers on luxury while also having the brawny ability to go anywhere in the world.

It’s unclear who chartered the yacht and docked it in Downtown Jacksonville. Before it came to Jacksonville, the ship was most recently seen in St. Petersburg and Palm Beach. In November, it made stops in Charleston, S.C. and Norfolk, Va.

What does it cost to charter a mega yacht like Bella Vita? It usually charters between $650,000 - $750,000 per week + additional fees.
