The Jacksonville Landing to Hold 27th Annual Christmas on the St. Johns Tree Lighting Ceremony

JACKSONVILLE, Fla – PRI Productions presents Christmas on the St. Johns at The Jacksonville Landing in partnership with Action News and Sleiman Enterprises. The 27th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Jacksonville Landing will take place Friday, November 29, at 7:00 p.m. in The Landing’s Courtyard. 

Music for the Lighting Ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. and include performances by local artists Nikos Westmoreland, Jacob and May Leporacci, Lauren Clemons, Dalton Cyr, Harvey Williams and Mike Hammondtree. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display on the St. Johns River.

The 56-foot-tall energy-efficient tree features over 78,000 L.E.D. lights and more than 100 ornaments.  The tree is also programmed to perform a 10-minute, synchronized light show set to various selections of holiday music.  The light shows begin the night of the Tree Lighting Ceremony and continue daily until New Year’s Eve.

A 30-minute live broadcast of the Lighting Ceremony will air at 7:30 p.m. on Fox 30. Heres the link for photos from last years lighting: 2013 photos

The Courtyard at The Landing will be standing-room-only for the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Therefore, the public is asked not to bring chairs.
