The Cowford Chophouse will open to the public tomorrow, October 26th to the delight of many in Jacksonville.

The steakhouse is located at 101 E. Bay St. and has been under construction since May 2015. Jacques Klempf, co-founder and partner in Forking Amazing restaurants, has spent over $6.5 million into bringing the old Bostwick building back to life, a project that Jacksonville officials and residents alike have been eager to see come to reality.

Many details of this Renaissance Revival landmark have been restored to their original glory with support from the Downtown Investment Authority and the City of Jacksonville’s Historic Preservation Trust Fund. Restored elements include the historic arched windows, exterior bricks, metal cornice, and 300-year-old heart of pine lumber that is seen throughout the building today.

Their menu will feature prime steaks, fresh seafood and from-scratch sides along with mouth watering desserts and their hours of operations are as follows.

Monday - Thursday: 11am-10pm

Friday: 11am-11pm

Saturday: 3pm-11pm

Sunday: 3pm-9pm
