The 2018 Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp season presented by Community First Credit Union continues with a homestand Sunday, Aug. 19, through Thursday, Aug. 23. The Jumbo Shrimp host the Birmingham Barons, Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, for a five-game series with a promotional lineup including the following highlights:
Sunday, August 19, 6:05 p.m. (Gates open at 5 p.m.)
Southpaw’s Birthday presented by Jax Refrigeration: Local mascots will join the celebration of the Baseball Grounds’ top dog with an entertaining kickball game.
Pregame Candy Drop: Following family catch on the field, a helicopter will drop candy in the outfield.
Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday: Kids can feel like the pros before each Sunday home game, as families can play catch on the field, beginning at 5 p.m. Free face painting and balloon animals will be available in the Wolfson Children's Hospital Kids Zone. Following the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases.

VyStar Credit Union Charity Begins at Home: The Jumbo Shrimp feature up to two local nonprofits at each Monday home game. The American Lung Association and the Jaguars Foundation will raise awareness and funds throughout the night through ticket sales. The Launch-A-Ball promotion will benefit the American Lung Association. VyStar Credit Union members can get a buy-3-get-1 free ticket special by showing their VyStar credit or debit card at the box office.
Half-Price Yuengling Monday: Every Monday night, 16-oz. Yuengling cans are half-price.
Tuesday, August 21, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)
Community First Credit Union Two-for-Tuesday: Regular tickets are 2-for-1 at the box office for Community First Credit Union members using their CFCU credit or debit card. At the Community First Credit Union table on the concourse, fans who are not members can learn more about membership and the Jumbo Shrimp VISA® Debit Card, which gives card holders a 10 percent discount on merchandise purchases, a free small fountain drink with any concession stand purchase and $2 off tickets purchased on game day at the box office.
Coors Light $2 Tuesday: Fans can purchase $1 (12-oz.) and $2 (24-oz.) Coors Light in select locations, and $1 small sodas are sold at the concession stands.
St. Johns County Night: Join with friends from St. Johns County to celebrate a special night at the ballpark.
Wednesday, August 22, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)
Publix Corks & Forks Wednesday: Fans can purchase a $15 package including a reserved seat and the opportunity to sample food, beer, and wine from Publix in the Safe Harbor Seafood Palm Tree Pavilion at tinyurl.com/jaxshrimpportal (password “PUBLIX”). Regular tickets may be upgraded for $6 each at the Pavilion or the box office. One lucky couple will win a dinner on the concourse that night, specially prepared by Chef Tony from Publix. That night’s wine sample at the ballpark will be available at your neighborhood Publix. Anyone who donates a canned food item at the box office can save $1 off a gameday ticket price (limit $1 off per ticket).
Canines and Crustaceans, Bark in the Park presented by Standard Feed and Seed: The Jumbo Shrimp welcome dogs to the ballpark, free of charge with a paying human companion. Dog-free seating will be available in Sections 110 and 111.

Nassau County Night: Join businesses and business leaders from Nassau County. Nassau County Night is presented by Erwin Insurance Agency®. First Federal Bank is a supporting sponsor of Nassau County Night.
Budweiser Thirsty Thursday: Fans can purchase $1 12-oz. and $2 24-oz. beers adjacent to the Budweiser Tiki Terrace, along the right-field concourse, and at the Oasis concession stand behind section 115. $1 small sodas are sold at the concession stands. DJ Swagg and DJ MoneyGud will provide music at the Budweiser Tiki Terrace.
