Have you ever been greeted by the hostess at a restaurant and then shown to your table by a cute robot? If your answer is no- but want to change that, then get over to Yi Liu HotPot, Korean BBQ and sushi.

Located in the Winn-Dixie shopping center on Atlantic Blvd and Girvin, Yi Liu HotPot is a large restaurant with several 4 and 6 seater booths each with a grill and your own burner for your pot. They also have a separate room to accommodate private parties. 

Mendy, the owner explained that Yi Liu is her husband’s name but also means “excellent” hence the “thumbs up” logo of their restaurant. This is a fun place to go with friends or family to socialize while cooking your own food. You will find a large self serve buffet area with several types of meats, seafood and dumplings for your hot pot or BBQ.

The sushi buffet is smaller, you will find mostly rolls here with a few types of nigiri. There is also a separate sauce and fruit and dessert bars with lots of options. For an up charge you can even choose a lobster or a whole fish from one of the large aquariums.  Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the conveyer belt that shuttles assorted veggies and noodles past your table! See something you want going by? Just pick it up!

They have been in their “Soft Opening” phase and will be having their official Grand Opening November 14 from 1pm- 11pm. Your first drink is on the house(glass of wine, bottle of beer or soft drink).
