This Saturday, CrossFit Total Control (Beaches) will be hosting Hero VETERANS DAY HERO WOD - CHAD 1000X - Veteran Suicide Prevention workout + event with @goruck
Sara Wilkinson, GORUCK, and CrossFit present the hero workout “Chad 1000X” - in honor of Navy SEAL Chad Wilkinson who took his life on October 29, 2018, due to the effects of numerous deployments, several TBIs, blast wave injuries, and PTSD. Their goal is to honor Chad’s life and legacy and to raise awareness for suicide prevention.
This patriotic parade features grand marshals, senior military officials, active-duty and retired military, veterans groups, local high school marching bands, decorative floats, giant balloons, JROTC units, and more!

The 5K takes 750+ runners along the beautiful St. Johns River and through parts of downtown Jacksonville; at the same time family, friends, and spectators are enjoying our large family-oriented Race Village complete with food, drinks, bounce houses, several games, and assorted activities.
Super Girl Surf Pro is a showcase for women in sports, developed as a celebration of female strength and empowerment, featuring a surf competition, skateboarding, beach volleyball, beach lacrosse, beach soccer, Esports and DJ's! There will also be free fitness activities, live music, a female art exhibition, gaming lounge, female comedians, food trucks, a beer & seltzer garden, and more!
The first event of its kind in Jacksonville, Florida, MOSH’s Native American Arts Festival will be a two-day, immersive educational experience of Indigenous art and culture. Optional VIP tickets are available for Day 1 (November 10) only in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium featuring incredible dance and music performances and a meet & greet/Q&A with World-Champion Native American Dancer and Creative Director of Native Pride Productions, Larry Yazzie! Cash bar (by suggested donation) and appetizers are included with VIP tickets.
