With the increased costs of participation in the game of baseball (equipment, training fees, and travel ball), many local area recreation programs and advanced play opportunities have been negatively affected. To combat those costs and increase participation, we have partnered with Major League Baseball's RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program, stepping up to the plate to organize and support programs that provide play opportunities to any youth who desires.

Walk Off Baseball Association (WOBA) will operate FREE recreation baseball programs for ages 4-12 years at the Bragan Baseball Complex at Fort Family Park. This program will tie into the Walk Off Jax RBI Spring League that is played across 14 different parks throughout Jacksonville, most of which are located on the northside, westside, and southside of town. Those park programs are run by other youth associations that Walk Off helps support with uniforms, equipment, training, coaching, and umpires, but all are a part of the larger league. This league will be chartered through Cal Ripken Baseball (a division of Babe Ruth League).
WOBA will look to have five age divisions: Rookie T-Ball (4U), T-Ball (6U), Rookie (8U), Minors (10U), and Majors (12U). Opening Day will be Saturday, March 30th.

Practices and home games will take place mainly on weeknights at the Bragan Baseball Complex, with a few other Saturday games planned as well.
