In honor of National Nonprofit Day, we've created a list of all the upcoming events in Jacksonville that benefit different local charities. Here at 904 Happy Hour, we believe in giving back to the community that has raised us and supported us. If you feel inspired but can't attend these events, you could always make a difference by donating online to these incredible local charities!

8/18: Fast Cars Fore Philanthropy

The Len Mattice Foundation is hosting a "Fast Cars Fore Philanthropy" event on August 18th at the Bentley of Jacksonville from 6pm-8pm. At the event there will be an exotic cars exhibit, a Long Drive Competition, food, drinks, and more! All the proceeds from the event will go to the Len Mattice Foundation Stop the Bullying Campaign. The goal of the Stop the Bullying Campaign is to counter the violence plaguing Jacksonville youth communities and create after-school programs for students that are fun, interactive, engaging, and stress-free.

8/18: Blues, Brews, and BBQ

Blues, Brews, and BBQ is downtown Jacksonville's best indoor picnic! The event is happening August 18th at the Florida Theatre and showcases Jacksonville's best wings, pulled pork, briskets, and more! You can enjoy your BBQ along with unlimited samples of our city's favorite craft beer and continuous live blues music. All proceeds from the event will benefit the nonprofit Florida Theatre Performing Arts Center, Inc.

8/19: Teal Ball Charity Event

The Tim Callahan Inspiration Foundation is hosting their annual Teal Ball Charity Event on August 19th at Dante's Place on Old St. Augustine Road from 7:30pm-9:30pm. At the event there will be a live DJ, silent auction, and a raffle! Plus, the event is completely free! The Tim Callahan Inspiration Foundation's sole purpose is to inspire kids through the founders' story of faith and determination as well as benefit a young child's life through the development of sports.

8/20: Freedom From Cancer Charity Golf Tournament

The Freedom From Cancer Charity Golf Tournament is back for it's 3rd year at World Golf Village in St. Augustine on August 20th from 11am-7:30pm. The event will consist of a putting challenge, shotgun tournament, dinner, and an auction. This year, the event will benefit Chemo Noir, a Jacksonville organization dedicated to supporting local fighters and families battling cancer.

8/27: Wishmaker's Ball Jacksonville

The 2nd Annual Fields Auto Group Wishmaker's Ball Jacksonville is happening on August 27th at Sawgrass Mariott Golf Resort & Spa benefitting Make-A-Wish! The black-tie gala raises money to grant the heartfelt wishes of children who are facing life threatening illnesses in our local communities. The evening includes a 3-course dinner, open bar, silent and live auctions, featured wish stories from local kids, and a separate after-party with open bar immediately following the event.

8/27: Summer Nights - Boys & Girls Club

Summer Nights presented by 121 Financial Credit Union is an evening affair benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida. The event is August 27th from 7pm-10pm at The Glass Factory. At the event you will be able to enjoy premium cocktails, dance the night away, taste delicious dishes from local restaurants, win exciting auction packages, and browse artwork created by young people at Boys & Girls clubs.

9/17: Two Piano Journey Benefit Concert

Lutheran Social Services Nonprofit Organization is hosting the Two Piano Journey Benefit Concert on September 17th at 7pm. The event is a double piano recital and is located at the Friday Musicale in downtown Jacksonville. All ticket and sponsorship sales will directly support Lutheran Social Services. LSS provides hunger relief, refugee services, money management, career/employment coaching, and HIV care.

9/17 - 9/18: Florida Fin Festival

The 2nd Annual Florida Fin Festival is happening September 17th and 18th at the Seawalk Pavillion in Jacksonville Beach. The event is free and will feature a music festival as well as educational experiences surrounding ocean conservation. There will be an "Education Village" feautring an immersive underwater VR experience, a mobile planetarium from MOSH, and touch tanks from Jacksonville University. The event benefits OCEARCH at Jacksonville University, a nonprofit dedicated to research, education, and outreach to accelerate the ocean's return to balance.

Chip Trefry Memorial Golf Tournament

The 2nd Annual Chip Trefry Memorial Golf Tournament and Community Game Changer Awards Dinner is happening on September 24th and 25th. The event is in memory of Earl "Chip" Trefry's legacy of of being a dear friend, dedicated volunteer leader, and life-long ambassador to the game of golf. The tournament's proceeds will support a $20,000 college scholarship to participants who have demonstrated commitment to First Tee, are identified as potential leaders in their community, and have a strong character foundation.

Taco & Tequila Festival

The 2nd Annual Taco & Tequila Festival is happening September 24th and 25th at Riverside Park in Historic Five Points. The festival will feature Mexican cuisine from over 20 restaurants and food trucks, as well as tequila sampling stations, craft margaritas, local makers, games, live music, and more! The festival is a fundraiser for several local Jacksonville nonprofits benefiting the arts, community enrichment and education here on the First Coast.
