The Florida Oktoberfest & Music Festival Will Be At Metropolitan Park October 6-8

The first-ever Florida Oktoberfest & Music Festival, featuring some of the biggest stars in rock, alternative and country music, is set for October 6, 7 and 8, 2017 in Jacksonville, Fla., officials announced today. Jacksonville’s Metropolitan Park will play host to three jam-packed days and nights of music and Oktoberfest fun.
The complete talent lineup along with tickets surrounding this mega-event will be released in the coming weeks. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, August 3rd. Music fans interested in receiving the line up first as well as discounted tickets prior to August 3rd can register at www.TheFloridaOktoberfest.com.
“The Florida Oktoberfest & Music Festival will generate a lot of excitement and showcase Jacksonville as a destination for entertainment,” said President of 904 Happy Hour Charles Wagoner. “Events like this have a major impact on tourism and the local economy and I am excited to promote this festival across the country.”
Saturday and Sunday will feature national headliners and supporting artists in rock, alternative, and country genres and Friday will showcase some of the the nation’s most recognized tribute bands. The festival will feature activities for all ages including a 100 ft ferris wheel, games and inflatables zone, and arts and crafts vendors. Children under the age of 12 are free to attend. Festival goers will be able to travel around Germany and purchase a wide variety of German and Oktoberfest style ales. Additionally, 15 of North Florida’s most popular food trucks will create a German inspired dish as well as their most popular menu items.
Festival organizers are working with iHeartMedia as well as an all-star team of experienced, major-event producers, who are responsible for bringing the inaugural Florida Oktoberfest & Music Festival to Jacksonville. This powerful combination promises to make this music festival an annual calendar destination for music fans from throughout the region and across the country for years to come. Festival organizers are hopeful to get the support of the Tourist Development Council in order to bring more tourists to Jacksonville, promote downtown, and further stimulate our local economy.
The Florida Oktoberfest will be partnering with multiple local charities so all facets of the community can be touched by this exciting event.
