St. Augustine Aquarium, Snorkel Adventure Now Open

The St. Augustine Aquarium, Snorkel Adventure first phase opened to the public on Monday, December 19th, 2016. The Aquarium signature attraction features a interactive shark and stingray cove, hands-on habitats, and an 80,000-gallon tank for their Snorkel Adventure. Admission for adults is $8 and $5 for children and for $35, guests can purchase the Snorkel Adventure, which includes a snorkel, mask and wetsuit.

Hours of operation are 10 am to 5 pm, seven days a week. The aquarium is located at 2045 State Road 16, St. Augustine, Florida 32084 and their phone number is 904-429-9777.

The second phase of their construction will add more marine conservation habitats for sharks, stingrays, eels, barracuda, octopus, jellyfish and reef fish. Additionally, Guest can adopt an sea creatures, such as a seahorse, octopus, stingray, or sharks that will live in the aquariums tanks and habitats.

The Aquarium will also be opening a zip line adventure in the spring. The Castaway Canopy Adventure by Zipstream will feature a guided tour with climbing walls, bridges and more, all contributing to a thrilling experience!
