PDQ Plans to Open 30 More Locations By The End Of 2018

Tampa-based PDQ was founded by Bob Basham, co-founder of Outback Steakhouse, and Nick Reader, former CFO of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2011, They opened the first PDQ in Tampa, Florida. They plan to open 15 more stores in 2017 and another 15 stores in 2018.
PDQ was founded on a concept that high-quality food, memorable service and genuine hospitality are the basis of an excellent restaurant. PDQ values genuine customer service, whether dining in or picking up at the drive-thru. They are committed to doing the things they do the right way.
PDQ stands for "People Dedicated to Quality" or "Pretty Darn Quick" and its menu has just nine primary items: Chicken tenders (crispy or grilled), five types of made-to-order chicken sandwiches (crispy or grilled) and three hand-tossed salads with homemade dressings.
PDQ currently has 3 locations in the 904 area. The first opening was at 3260 Hodges Blvd. followed by 13702 Old St Augustine Road and 194 State Road 13 near Racetrac Road. Coming soon they will be opening at The Town Center. They have said that there will be 10 PDQ restaurants in Duval, Clay and St. Johns counties within five years and 20 within the decade.
