Cooler months will be here before you know it, and we're counting down the days until we can enjoy a meal outside without profusely sweating (kidding, but not kidding). To get prepped and excited for the upcoming season change, we've curated a list of some of the best outdoor dining experiences in Jacksonville!
We had to start with one of the most beloved rooftop bars and restaurants in Jacksonville, River & Post. River & Post's rooftop overlooks the St. Johns River and offers some of the best views of the city. Make sure to come here during sunset to really get the full experience.

River & Fort is the ideal St. Augustine dining experience! They have not one, but two rooftop bars overlooking the Castillo de San Marcos Fort as well as the gorgeous St. Augustine Bay. They also have fireplaces on their rooftop, making it the perfect spot for the upcoming cooler seasons.
The District SPR is a memorable outdoor dining experience to say the least. They are located in Historic Springfield and offer one of the most unique outdoor patios we've ever seen! The outdoor patio features heaters, a Peacock Garden, Boho Yurt Lounges, a Geodome, and plenty of other outdoor seating options.

Restoration Hardware is located at the St. Johns Town Center and offers one of the most exquisite outdoor dining experiences in the city. Their rooftop restaurant is located on the third floor and has both stunning indoor and outdoor seating options. You won't regret checking this gorgeous rooftop out.
Estrella Cocina is located on the 7th floor of the Downtown Vystar Campus and is home to one of the best rooftop views in Downtown Jacksonville. While you're eating incredible Baja Mexican Cuisine, you'll also be enjoying views of the iconic John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge (the blue bridge) overlooking the river.
Cap's On the Water offers not only some of the best seafood in St. Augustine, but also some of the best views! Cap's sits on the Intercoastal Waterway, so while you eat their famous oysters you'll also be enjoying their beautiful waterfront dining experience. This place is a must!
Epping Forest Yacht Club is one of Jacksonville's most historic member-only clubs. The mansion is over 15,000 sq ft and features beautiful gardens and waterfront lawns, tennis courts, a marina, and other first class amenities. The stunning mansion sits on the St. Johns River, making it the perfect Jacksonville sunset experience.
The River Club of Jacksonville is a member-only, business club located 500 ft above downtown Jacksonville atop the Wells Fargo building. The club showcases stunning 360° views of the city and its vibrant waterfront downtown. It is truly the perfect space for any special occasion.
Black Sheep Restaurant is located in Historic Five Points and has an divine rooftop bar and lounge with views of Riverside, Downtown, and the St. Johns River! This is restaurant is a local favorite and must-try when looking for a classier rooftop dining experience.
The Conch House Restaurant is located in St. Augustine and is the perfect place for day drinking or a sunset dinner. What makes Conch House so unique is their grass huts overlooking the water, where you can enjoy a private meal and beautiful waterfront views.

Dockside Seafood Restaurant is perched alongside the east edge of the Jacksonville Beach ramp where you can enjoy views of the marsh and boats whizzing by as you eat some of the best seafood in town.
Wicked Barley sits on the banks of Goodby's Creek and is a waterfront brewery and restaurant. If you're looking to drink a crisp, local beer while watching the sunset, this the place for you. Their outdoor area is pet friendly and also offers a sanded area with toys for children.
Coop 303 is located in Atlantic Beach and is home to one of the cutest rooftops you'll ever see! The rooftop overlooks the Atlantic Beach Towncenter and is immersed in beautiful greenery and comfy lounges. Plus, it's only steps away from the beach, so you can enjoy a sunset stroll after your delicious rooftop meal.
The Bearded Pig BBQ has two locations in Jacksonville, one in San Marco and one in Jacksonville Beach. Both of their locations offer an awesome pet-friendly patio, where you can enjoy their mouthwatering barbecue and local craft beer.

Prospect is located in Historic Five Points and offers the coziest indoor seating as well as outdoor seating! Their outdoor seating features an outdoor bar and is covered by trees and fairy lights, making it an adorable date night spot. Plus, the outdoor patio is pet friendly!
Iguana on Park is located in Riverside's Avondale and offers not only some of the best tacos in town, but also some great outdoor seating options! Their outdoor patio is massive and features an indoor/outdoor bar, booths, multiple fireplaces, and even cornhole! Cornhole and Mexican Street Corn sounds like a perfect combo to us.
European Street Cafe has three locations throughout Jacksonville, but their Riverside location has the most vibrant restaurant exterior and offers the cutest outdoor seating. As you can see, it's hard to be grumpy while eating outside at the European Street Cafe. The colors of the furniture and restaurant alone is reason enough to check it out!
