Jacksonville’s rich music history is unknown to many outside of the local culturally connected. Ruben’s installation brings light to the contribution the Allman Brothers made to both music and Jax’s history. The Allman Brothers Band was one of the most critically admired and commercially successful rock groups of the 1970s and beyond.

The formative period of the Allman Brothers Band was when the pieces of the legendary group came together in Jacksonville’s Riverside neighborhood.
