Press Taylor is in his first season as the offensive coordinator for the Jaguars and his tenth season as an NFL coach. He spent the 2021 season as a senior offensive assistant with the Indianapolis Colts after spending eight seasons (2013-20) in a variety of roles with the Philadelphia Eagles. In his lone season with the Colts, Taylor helped the Colts become one of six offensive units in the NFL to boast a 1,000-yard rusher (RB Jonathan Taylor; 1,811 yards) and 1,000-yard receiver (WR Michael Pittman Jr.; 1,082 yards). The Colts ranked second in rushing yards per game (149.4 avg.) and tied for ninth in points per game (26.5 avg.).

Mike Caldwell is in his first season with the Jaguars as the defensive coordinator. Caldwell spent the last three seasons (2019-21) as the inside linebackers coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Prior to his time with Tampa Bay, Caldwell spent 2015-18 as the assistant head coach/inside linebackers coach with the New York Jets and 2013-14 with the Arizona Cardinals as a linebackers coach. A native of Tarboro, N.C., Caldwell played linebacker in the NFL for 11 years.

Heath Farwell is in his first season with the Jaguars as the team’s special teams coordinator. He brings six years of NFL coaching experience, spending the last three seasons (2019-21) as the Bills special teams coordinator after stops with the Panthers and Seahawks. In 2021, Farwell coached K Tyler Bass, who made 28-of-32 field goal attempts, including a 57-yard field goal (tied for seventh-longest in the NFL last season). Farwell also worked with P Matt Haack, who finished the season with a 42.9 gross punting average and placed 18 punts inside the 20. WR Isaiah McKenzie ranked sixth in the NFL in kick return average (24.3).

Jim Bob Cooter makes his way to Jacksonville as the passing game coordinator after most recently serving as a coaching consultant with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021. He brings 12 years of NFL coaching experience after playing quarterback at the University of Tennessee from 2003-06. After initially joining the Lions as a quarterbacks coach in 2014, Cooter was promoted to offensive coordinator in Week 8 of the 2015 season. During his time in Detroit, QB Matthew Stafford ranked among the top 10 in the NFL in completion percentage (64.9%), passing yards (21,069), touchdowns (128) and passing plays of 25-plus yards (151). In 2015, the offense led the NFL in red zone efficiency (69.39), while the offense produced eight fourth-quarter game-winning drives in 2016, with five different players catching at least 50 passes (only the fifth team in league history to do so).

Mike McCoy is in his 20th season in the NFL as a coach and first season in Jacksonville, where he assumes quarterbacks coach duties. He most recently served as the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals in 2018 and the Denver Broncos in 2017. McCoy also served as the head coach of the San Diego Chargers for four seasons (2013-16). In McCoy’s four seasons as head coach of the Chargers, San Diego’s offense ranked ninth in the league in total offense (365.9 yards per game) and second in third down percentage (44.6 percent). In addition, McCoy’s group had a top 10 passing attack each season. The Chargers ranked fifth in the league in both net passing yards per game (269.0) and passing TDs (126) during that span.

Phil Rauscher joins the Jaguars as the team’s offensive line coach after spending the previous two seasons (2020-21) with the Minnesota Vikings. In 2021, the Vikings offensive line, led by Rauscher, allowed 30 sacks, the fifth-fewest in the NFL. RB Dalvin Cook rushed for 1,159 yards behind the Vikings offensive line and was selected to the Pro Bowl for the third straight season. Rauscher began his coaching career at his alma mater, UCLA, in 2006 as an undergraduate assistant and earned three letters as an offensive lineman before injuries cut his career short. After earning his bachelor's degree in history, Rauscher served as a graduate assistant at UCLA from 2008-09 assisting with the tight ends.

Chris Jackson is in his first season with the Jaguars as the wide receivers coach after spending the last four seasons in a variety of roles with the Chicago Bears, most recently as the assistant wide receivers coach. A native of Bristol, Conn., he played wide receiver for five teams in the NFL and six teams in the AFL after a standout collegiate career at Washington State. As the assistant wide receivers coach in Chicago (2020-21), Jackson helped WR Darnell Mooney post his first 1,000-yard season in 2021 and WR Allen Robinson II record the first 100-catch season of his eight-year career in 2020.

Richard Angulo arrives in Jacksonville as the team’s tight ends coach after eight seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. During his time in Baltimore, Angulo served in a variety of roles on the offensive side of the ball. In 2021, he was the assistant offensive line coach and assisted an offensive line that paved the way for the Ravens to rank third in rushing yards (145.8 yards per game), fourth in rushes of 10-plus yards (67), fifth in total scrimmage yards (6,746) and tied for ninth in rush TDs (18). Angulo played six years in the NFL as a tight end, including two seasons with the Jaguars (2007-08). He was originally drafted in the seventh round by the St. Louis Rams in the 2003 NFL Draft.

Bernie Parmalee returns as running backs coach for his second season in Jacksonville and his 15th season as an NFL coach. In 2021, Parmalee helped RB James Robinson reach a team-high 989 scrimmage yards and eight TDs. In Robinson's first two seasons in the NFL, he has posted 2,403 scrimmage yards and 1,837 rushing yards, which both stand as the third-most in franchise history through a player's first 28 games. Parmalee played nine seasons in the NFL as a running back with the Miami Dolphins (1992-98) and the New York Jets (1999-2000). After entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Miami, he played in 134 games (26 starts), recording 567 rushes for 2,179 yards and 17 TDs.

Andrew Breiner is in his first season with the Jaguars as the assistant quarterbacks coach. Breiner spent last season as Florida International University’s offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach. Prior to his stint at FIU, Breiner spent the 2020 season on Doug Pederson’s staff in Philadelphia as a passing game analyst. A native of Hummelstown, Pa., Breiner played wide receiver at Lock Haven University, where he also earned his first coaching job as a wide receivers coach.

Will Harriger returns for his second season in Jacksonville, and first as assistant wide receivers coach, and ninth overall in the NFL. Harriger previously spent two seasons (2019-20) with the Atlanta Falcons transitioning from offensive assistant in 2019 to game management coordinator in 2020 prior to making the switch to running backs coach for Weeks 6-17. Harriger also spent five seasons (2014-18) with the Seahawks, where he began his tenure as an offensive assistant in 2014 prior to being promoted to assistant quarterbacks coach in 2016. In Harriger's time as the Seahawks assistant quarterbacks coach, QB Russell Wilson threw for 11,650 yards and 90 TDs, the fifth-most TDs in the NFL during that span. Wilson earned Pro Bowl honors in 2017 and 2018 and led the league in passing TDs in 2017.

Todd Washington is in his second season with the Jaguars as an assistant offensive line coach after spending two seasons as an offensive assistant with the New York Jets. Washington has eight years of NFL playing experience as well as eight years of NFL coaching experience. He has also spent time in the XFL, AAF and UFL. In 2021, the Jaguars offensive line, coached by Washington, allowed 32 sacks, the ninth-fewest in the NFL. The Jaguars also rushed for 1,755 yards and 13 touchdowns. 

Nick Williams enters his first season with Jacksonville as an offensive quality control coach. Williams spent the 2018-20 seasons with the Eagles as a coaching assistant. Prior to joining the Eagles, Williams spent three years with the coaching staff at his alma mater, Humboldt State in Arcata, Calif. He began his coaching tenure as a running backs coach in 2015 before adding wide receivers to his job duties during the 2016-17 seasons. Williams played collegiately at Humboldt State as a wide receiver from 2011-13 and was a member of the 2011 GNAC championship team.

Bob Sutton is in his second season with the Jaguars as a senior defensive assistant. Sutton brings more than 40 years of coaching experience, including 22 seasons in the NFL. Prior to arriving in Jacksonville, Sutton spent two seasons (2019-20) as a senior defensive assistant with the Atlanta Falcons after spending six seasons (2013-18) as the defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs. Prior to joining the Chiefs, Sutton spent 13 seasons with the New York Jets serving in a variety of roles including linebackers coach, defensive coordinator and assistant head coach.

Brentson Buckner is in his first season with the Jaguars as the defensive line coach. Buckner spent the last two seasons in Arizona as the Cardinals defensive line coach after previous stops with the Raiders, Buccaneers, Cardinals and Steelers. A native of Columbus, Ga., Buckner brings eight years of NFL coaching experience and 12 years of NFL playing experience as a defensive lineman.

Bill Shuey is in his first season with the Jaguars as an outside linebackers coach. Shuey spent the last four seasons with the Chicago Bears in a variety of roles, including outside linebackers coach. Prior to his time in Chicago, he spent 11 years with the Philadelphia Eagles. A native of Bethlehem, Pa., Shuey played semi-pro football for the Lehigh Valley Panthers and the Pittsburgh Colts.

Tony Gilbert is in his third season with the Jaguars and first as inside linebackers coach. Prior to joining the Jaguars, Gilbert spent two seasons (2018-19) at Central Florida, where he served as the defensive quality control coach. He arrived at Central Florida after serving as a defensive quality control coach specialist and assistant linebacker coach at the University of North Carolina from 2015-17. A native of Macon, Ga., Gilbert attended University of Georgia and was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Gilbert also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars (2003-07) and Atlanta Falcons (2008-09).

Cody Grimm is in his first season with the Jaguars as the safeties coach. Grimm spent the last three seasons in Tampa Bay as the Buccaneers defensive/special teams assistant after serving as the quality control/defense coach at Virginia Tech. He brings seven years of NFL coaching experience and three years of NFL player experience as a safety for the Buccaneers. A native of Fairfax, Va., Grimm was drafted in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers.

Deshea Townsend is in his first season with the Jaguars as the passing game coordinator/cornerbacks coach. Townsend spent the last three seasons (2019-21) as the secondary coach for the Chicago Bears after a 13-year NFL career as a cornerback with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts. Townsend brings 11 years of coaching experience to Jacksonville.

Rory Segrest is in his first season with the Jaguars as an assistant defensive line coach. Segrest spent the last four seasons with the University of Louisiana serving as the assistant head coach/defensive line coach after previous stops with University of Arkansas, Samford and the Philadelphia Eagles. A native of Waycross, Ga., Segrest brings 27 combined years of coaching experience between college and the NFL.

Patrick Reilly is in his second season with the Jaguars as a defensive quality control coach. Reilly spent the 2018-20 seasons as a defensive analyst at Alabama, where the Crimson Tide made two College Football Playoff appearances and won the 2020 National Championship. Reilly was hired by UCLA in 2016 as a defensive quality control coach prior to being promoted to defensive analyst in 2017. He spent three seasons (2013-15) with the Syracuse football program as an offensive graduate assistant. The Levittown, N.Y. native began his coaching career at SUNY Cortland.

Luke Thompson is joining the Jacksonville Jaguars as the assistant special teams coach. He most recently held the same title for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2019-20. Prior to his time with the Eagles, Thompson coached in the collegiate ranks for 20 years. In 2019, the Eagles had several standouts on special teams, including LS Rick Lovato who earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2019 and K Jake Elliott who posted a career-high 84.6 field percentage. In addition, P Cameron Johnston produced top 10 finishes in gross (46.4, ninth) and net (42.3, eighth) punting averages. A graduate of Assumption College, Thompson began his coaching career in 1998 as the offensive line/tight ends coach at Bowdoin College.

ElizaBeth Mayers and Tyler Wolf will both assist the coaching staff. Wolf joined the Jaguars in 2013, while Mayers joined the Jaguars in 2009.
