The 2018 Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp season presented by Community First Credit Union continues with a homestand Thursday, May 17, through Monday, May 21. The Jumbo Shrimp host the Mobile BayBears, Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, for a six-game, five-day series with a promotional lineup including the following highlights:
Thursday, May 17, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)
Budweiser Thirsty Thursday: Fans can purchase $1 12-oz. and $2 24-oz. beers adjacent to the Budweiser Tiki Terrace, along the right-field concourse, and at the Oasis concession stand behind section 115. $1 small sodas are sold at the concession stands. DJ Swagg and DJ MoneyGud will provide music at the Budweiser Tiki Terrace.
National Police Week Celebration with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office will have police vehicles on display outside the home plate gate. Pregame ceremonies will include a JSO helicopter flyover and a ceremonial first pitch for the Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams. The JSO Bigs with Badges Program will attend the game.

NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks: Fans may visit any participating NAPA AutoCare Center to get a FREE general admission ticket (reserved seat upgrade available at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville box office) for the Friday night doubleheader. Following the doubleheader, the Jumbo Shrimp have postgame NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks!
Red Shirt Friday: Fans are encouraged to wear red to support the military and save $1 per ticket at the box office, or donate the $1 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Jumbo Shrimp wear red “Bold City” jerseys every Friday.
Friday Night Lites Miller Lite Happy Hour: Miller Lite $1 12-oz. beers and $1 off craft beer specials are available in the Craft Cave near the third-base gate from gates opening until 7:30 p.m. every Friday.

Royal Wedding Vow Renewal: In honor of the Royal Wedding, the Jumbo Shrimp will host a pregame, on-field vow renewal. Couples wishing to participate may email [email protected]. Space is limited and based on a first come, first served request.
Jax Miracle League Game: The Jumbo Shrimp will host an afternoon Miracle League game on the field at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville before the Jumbo Shrimp's evening game.
Sunday, May 20, 3:05 p.m. (Gates open at 2 p.m.)
Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday & Stroke Awareness Sunday: Kids can feel like the pros before each Sunday home game, as families can play catch on the field, beginning at 2 p.m. A Jumbo Shrimp player autograph booth will be open before the game. Free face painting, balloon animals, and kids crafts activities will be available in the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Kids Zone. Elmo will be roaming the ballpark, greeting Jumbo Shrimp fans. Following the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases.
Navy Mutual Life Insurance Military Appreciation Day: Veterans, active, retired and former military and their dependents receive free general admission or reserved tickets. All attendees with the military member must be present, and the member show an active military or veteran ID, at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville box office to receive free tickets. The Jumbo Shrimp will wear camo jerseys.

VyStar Credit Union Charity Begins at Home: Local nonprofits have the spotlight at Monday home games. Each Monday, up to two local nonprofits raise awareness and funds throughout the night through ticket sales and the Launch-A-Ball promotion. VyStar Credit Union members can get a buy-3-get-1 free ticket special by showing their VyStar credit or debit card at the box office.
Education Day: The Jumbo Shrimp welcome area schools to the ballpark. No alcohol will be sold on the concourse.
Student-led Food Drive for Feeding Northeast Florida: Andrew Jackson High School, as part of the “Jackson Five” program, will host a food drive for Feeding Northeast Florida. The Jackson Five program introduces high school students to the sports business industry. Everyone who donates a non-perishable food item at the third-base gate will be entered in a drawing for prizes from the Jumbo Shrimp.
