Jacksonville, Fla., Aug. 1, 2017 – What is the best way to show appreciation for a valued partner? Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville has come up with a unique tribute.
“We wanted to honor a successful partnership we have had for many years now,” said Lisa Almeida, co-owner of Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville. “So, we are naming our newest boat ‘904 Happy Hour’.”Almeida explains the logic of naming a boat after another organization.
“We describe our club as 'boating made simple' and 'your director of fun',” Almeida said. “And 904 Happy Hour is Jacksonville’s premier entertainment resource. And of course, every hour you are out on a Freedom Boat Club boat is a happy hour.”
The latest addition to the local Freedom Boat Club fleet is a 21-foot, 2017 Key West 219, with a light blue hull and a hard top. It has a 200 horsepower Yamaha four-stroke engine, a Bluetooth stereo, livewell and rod holders. It was designed with comforts like full-width bench seating in the aft, seating in the bow with removable backrests, plenty of room under the console and more. It can accommodate up to eight people.
"We are honored to be a partner with Freedom Boat Club,” said Charles Wagoner, president of 904 Happy Hour. “With corporate memberships and partnership opportunities, Freedom Boat Club truly makes living in the River City that much more enjoyable."
The 904 Happy Hour boat is available at the Julington Creek Marina location of Freedom Boat Club at 12807 San Jose Boulevard.
