Married by The Specktator – 6:30-9 p.m., Laura Street
Couples with official documentation can be married at Art Walk or renew their vows by ordained minister Kerry Speckman (a.k.a. The Specktator) in the Chapel of Love. After the nuptials, indulge in professional photos, Sweet Pete’s chocolate covered strawberries and a free ring engraving at Hemming Plaza Jewelers.
Single Mingle – 7:30 p.m., outside Snyder Memorial
Make new friends during a speed dating-like event hosted by The Lyricist Hour with Mal Jones. Participate or be a spectator as folks sit down with a stranger for a 60 second “date.”
Dump Your Baggage – 5-9 p.m., Laura Street
Write down stories of jilted, hurtful or unrequited love and shred it. As the shredder becomes full, we’ll empty it into what will become a colorful trash bin full of the past.
