We all love a nice cold beer on a hot summer day, how about keeping it local and spending your weekend supporting a local brewery or two! The Jacksonville Ale Trail not only gives you an opportunity for a great time with family and friends, but also to discover your new favorite spot. The trail consists of eight different breweries with something to satisfy everyone’s tastes. Here are the eight different breweries and their locations, all just waiting for you to stop by!

1. Bold City Brewery, 2670 Gilmore Street #7 in Jacksonville

Bold City not only gives you great options for a local brew, but also a cool atmosphere to sip in. Is it your first time? You get the chance to grab a flights of beers to pick your favorite!

2. Aardwolf Brewing Company, 1461 Hendricks Avenue in Jacksonville

We all know how cool of an area San Marco is, making it an even better place is Aardwolf Brewing. Wednesdays are the best place to stop by as they bring out a batch of something new for you to give it a go. Aardwolf also offers table rentals and room rentals if you are looking to host a special event. Saturdays also include Brewery Yoga!

3. Intuition Ale Works, 720 King Street in Jacksonville

If you’re anywhere near the Riverside area, Intuition should be on your “must-do” list of things this summer. With a long list of local brews and a great location, you’re in for a great date or even just week night drink after work!

4. Green Room Brewing, 228 3rd Street North in Jax Beach

I’m not sure if anything goes together better than the beach and a beer. Located right in Jacksonville Beach is Green Room Brewing, the first microbrewery in the Beaches area. Whether you are new to the beer world or have the palette of a champ, you are sure to like the flavors on tap at Green Room!

5. Engine 15 Brewing Company, 1500 Beach Blvd. #217 in Jax Beach

The beaches are also home to Engine 15, where the atmosphere is as good as the drinks and even a menu of bar snacks to pair with your drinks. The selection of beers ranges from made in-house to your classic favorites.

6. Pinglehead Brewing Company, 14B Blanding Blvd. in Orange Park

Pinglehead Brewery is located on site with Brewer’s Pizza, making for a great combo any day. They are committed to being “Beer with Attitude!” and offering a wide variety of local beers in the Orange Park area.

7. Zeta Brewing Company, 131 1st Avenue in Jax Beach

If you are looking for some local flavor and a chill atmosphere for you and your friends after a long beach day then Zeta is the brewery for you. With a friendly staff and a great menu, it will soon become a favorite spot. Zeta also offers mouth-watering brunch on weekends with BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS on the menu. See you there.


8. Veterans United Craft Brewery, 8999 Western Way #104 in Jacksonville

Veterans United is owned by a group of local veterans passionate about their beers! The taproom is open daily and they offer tours on Saturdays as well for that up close and personal look at the making of your favorite drink. 

9. Ancient City Brewing Co​, 3420 Agricultural Center Dr Suite 8​ in St Augustine

Locally Brewed right in St. Augustine, Ancient City Brewing brews some of the best beer in the oldest city.  Their hours are 4 to close Tues, Wed, and Thurs. Open 12 to close Friday and 12 to 8 on Sunday's.

10. A1A Ale Works​, 1 King Street​ in St Augustine

A1A Ale Works is located in the heart of St. Augustine. A1A serves the some of the freshest hand crafted beer possible along with their "New World Cuisine" menu - offering Caribbean, Cuban & Florida influencences. Stop by take in the view and enjoy craft beer right in the back yard of the nations oldest city.
