On February 7, 2015 the J.L. Wiley Foundation for stroke awareness and healthcare advocacy will be celebrating chili once more with their third annual Chili Cook Off. Come out to the Jacksonville Beach Community Center from 4 to 7 and register your vote for the best chili from local amateurs and professionals. Can Sawgrass Country Club and Mark Duren defend their Chili Master titles?

The band 'Working for Crazy' will be playing some great music and there will be dancing along with a silent auction and raffle items.

The J.L. Wiley Foundation was founded in 2010 by the Wiley family after experiencing a stroke in their family, to make people more aware of the risk of stroke and the ways that it can be prevented. Our first goal is better stroke awareness and treatment. We never would have imagined that Joe would have had a stroke. We didn’t know any of the warning signs that in retrospect were present as much as several days before. We have come to realize that while your risk of suffering a stroke increases with your age that it still can strike people of any age.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.jlwileyfoundation.com.
