Last Wednesday, President Trump announced the America Strong initiative which involves the United States Military's top-flight demonstration teams to fly over some of the country’s largest cities. America Strong is a collaborative salute from the Navy & Air Force to recognize health care workers, first responders, and essential personnel while standing in solidarity with all Americans during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Flight teams to fly over Jacksonville will most likely include the Blue Angels. The mission starts Monday in the New York area and sources say the fly over will be coming to Jacksonville on Saturday. The City of Jacksonville tweeted that the flyover is tentatively scheduled for May 2nd.
