Happy Fourth of July Weekend Jax & St. Augustine! This year it is on a Tuesday, but we have plans for you the whole weekend. Go to fireworks celebrations, baseball games, 5Ks, and so much more. Stay safe and have a great time!
Fireworks will be launched at 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4th from the following locations:
• Downtown Jacksonville
• Highlands - Ray Greene Park (the park will be closed for the launch)
• The Avenues Mall
• Trinity Baptist Church
• Ed Austin Regional Park
The 20-minute fireworks display will reach high over Matanzas Bay starting at 9:30 pm, choreographed to a stirring soundtrack of popular and patriotic music delivered over an extensive sound system. The entire Bayfront between the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and the Bridge of Lions will be transformed into a theatre of sight and sound.

The beach is a great spot to be for the 4th of July! Stick around for fireworks and note the pier parking lot will be closed to all vehicles all day on July 4th, but can be used to view the fireworks.

The Celebration Run is a wonderful way for the entire family to start the holiday. This run features moisture-wicking shirts for all participants, custom-designed medals for all 5K finishers, and 1st Place Sports fun run medals for all mile finishers. After the race, stick around and enjoy the watermelon festival.
