Let's celebrate, Jax! We're ringing in the New Year with events across the 904 that you've got to check out! Another year has come and gone with the pandemic still in effect, but what better way to look forward to a better, healthier year than to celebrate with the community!

We will miss some of the celebrations that we know and love, like MOCA's NYE event at the museum as well as River City Brewing Co's NYE Bash but there are a handful of NEW events that we're just as pumped about!

Check out the list below of some of our top event picks and from the entire team at 904 Happy Hour, Happy New Year.

FEATURED EVENTS:

The Bread & Board and Estrella Cocina are having a special, progressive New Year's Eve party! Enjoy live music, great food, delicious cocktails and dancing at their downtown restaurants.

The evening will kick off between 6–8 PM for mingling in the breezeway with Alewife and Provisions. The celebration will begin with light bites cocktails and live music. From 8 to 10 PM guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres and dinner in The Bread & Board's dining room and outdoor seating. Then at 10 PM guests will move to their seventh floor Estrella Cocina for dancing complete with a DJ and craft cocktail bars.

When the ball drops they will toast to the new year under a blanket of stars and dance the night away enjoying an unlimited taco and ceviche buffet for late-night cravings!

Say goodbye to 2021 and ring in the New Year with a spectacular fireworks display over the St. Johns River. Make your way down to the waterfront with friends or family before midnight to snag a great seat for the festivities. Fireworks will begin exactly at midnight.

TaxSlayer Gator Bowl

It’s Official, Bowl’d City! Wake Forest football will take on a SEC football team, TBA SOON in the 77th annual Tax Slayer Gator Bowl on December 31st at 11 AM on Bill Gay Grounds at TIAA Bank Field!

Light Up the Night! Fireworks and Beach Blvd. Block Party

Enjoy the fireworks from multiple locations at this year's Fireworks & Beach Blvd. Block Party! This community-based celebration, offers a true taste of St. Augustine Beach. Stay the weekend or enjoy a night out with the family or friends. The block party takes place at businesses along A1A Beach Blvd. The block party is happening all day with businesses along the Blvd offering discounts, live music and other specials, fireworks start at 8:30 p.m.

New Year’s Eve: Rhapsody in Blue Eyes

Tony DeSare and the Symphony bring you the best songs of Sinatra, and Gershwin’s extraordinary Rhapsody in Blue. All followed by the best New Year’s party in town featuring dancing to The Chris Thomas Band, champagne and the best viewing location for the fireworks right outside the door!

Casa Marina’s New Years Eve Party

When: 12/31 7:30PM

Where: 228 E Forsyth St, Jacksonville

Come celebrate the end of 2021 with Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant for a night of food and libations. This year our annual New Year’s Eve Party will be hosted at Ruby Beach Brewing Co’s new downtown Jacksonville location. Casa Marina will fully cater the event, meaning all food/beverage packages will remain the same as past years. With indoor and outdoor space available; Ruby Beach Brewing Co’s new facility includes an outdoor patio, indoor taproom, and a second floor event space.

MARVEL YEARS & MADDY O’NEAL – New Years Eve at 1904 Music Hall

Maddy O’Neal has been catching the eyes and ears of music fans around the world with her tasteful versatility and mixing style. Hailing from Denver, CO Maddy O’Neal has carved out her niche in the always changing and very diverse electronic genre. Maddy’s rock n’ roll family roots and growing appetite for old-school hip-hop, give her a sound that sets her apart from other artists in the scene.

Cory Wythe, the producer and guitarist better known as Marvel Years, has found a welcome place for himself within the increasingly popular glitch-hop / electro-soul dance music scene. In just a short period of time, his progression has become outright impossible to ignore. Much more than your average DJ/producer, Marvel Years incorporates electric guitar in his live performances. His approach to blending electronic beats and shredding soulful guitar on his original tracks and remixes creates a sound that is a unique hybrid of EDM combing glitch, retro-funk, classic rock, soul, jazz and hip-hop.

Cowford Chophouse NYE Rooftop Event

Celebrate the start of 2022 with Cowford Chophouse! Join us for fireworks, music, views and a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration.

Included with your ticket is our select premium open bar in partnership with G.H. Mumm Champagne, Jefferson's Bourbon & Absolut Elyx along with appetizers and a complimentary glass of champagne at midnight. $10 from each ticket purchased will go to Jacksonville Art & Music School.

What better way to ring in the new year than with this classic Verdi masterpiece, fully staged with orchestra? First Coast Opera presents one of the most iconic, romantic and tragic scores of all time at Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College.
