The U.S. intends to play three friendlies on home soil in late May and early June to get ready for the tournament. The last time the U.S. played in Jacksonville was on May 26, 2012, when Landon Donovan scored a hat trick as the US beat Scotland, 5-1 in front of 44,438 fans Sources say that the game this year, falling in a World Cup year and being the last friendly before the U.S. leaves for Brazil, could make it a 76,000 capacity sellout this time around.
