Dream Day, hosted by Dreams Come True charity and PRI Productions, is a celebration for Northeast Florida children who are battling life-threatening illnesses. It’s truly a magical event where the children can let loose and have some fun.

The purpose of Dream Day is to provide an unforgettable day for local children and families in need of a break from their day-to-day struggles with life-threatening illnesses. The celebration is part of Dreams Come True’s Special Times program, which provides the dream child and his or her family opportunities to enjoy special activities they may not otherwise get to experience. They may get tickets to a Jaguars game, an evening at the movies, a concert or a festival to spend a day at. Whatever the opportunity, Special Times reminds the children and their families they are special and loved.

Saturday, June 10th, 2017 will be the third year for Dream Day to be here in Jacksonville, where young dreamers are celebrated as super heroes, princesses, and more in a party and parade just for them. Children will be celebrated one family at a time by riding in either a stretch limo or cruising in one of Main Street’s antique classic cars. They will start at the entrance to the PRI Productions parking lot on Kings Avenue, which will be turned into a wonderland for a day.

A well-deserved, fun event for parents and children who are going through illnesses.
