Jacksonville Fl - Food trucks have become one of the most popular types of restaurants to hit the streets of Jacksonville over the past few years. Despite the views of the citizens and tax payers, City Councilman Reggie Brown is moving forward on an attempt to legislate food trucks out of existence in Jacksonville.

This Wednesday at 3pm, Councilman Reggie Brown will hold a public meeting regarding a draft ordinance that will severely limit the ability of food truck operators to conduct business in Jacksonville.

Beside food trucks being a huge economic driver for the downtown district, they have helped bring more foot traffic to places that don't even offer food or drinks. We were under the understanding that the city was trying to get more people to visit downtown Jacksonville... It doesn't sound like it by these actions.
