40th Annual Ortega River Run

The 40th Annual Ortega River Run will have a 1 mile Fun Run and a 5 mile Run-Walk Run.  The 1 mile run begins at 8am. Both races start and finish at St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School located at 4114 Oxford Avenue – Just off Ortega Boulevard.

For the 40 years, St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School has held the Ortega River Run. A Grand Prix sanctioned event, this is a great event for the whole family. Proceeds benefit the financial aid and scholarship program at the school.


Run the historic 40-year course over bridges and along tree-lined streets.

Medals given to all 1-mile and 5-mile finishers.

Shirts for all one-mile and five-mile runners. You must pick up at designated locations prior to race day to guarantee shirt availability.

Large and lively family Street Fair at start/finish with food, activities, give-a-ways, and special guests.

Fun & Fit Zone with bounce house and sport activities for kids.

Strollers welcome (must start at back of race).
