  • Wednesday, Nov. 25
    • The â€‹SANTA'S WONDERLAND DINNER at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, will bring families together with Santa and his elves for a new wonderland experience including the appearances by an Ice Princess and Jack Frost. 

    • The S.S. AMELIA, THE WORLD'S LARGEST GINGERBREAD PIRATE SHIP, arrives at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island.

    • Join in a magical holiday tradition at the 19TH ANNUAL RITZ-CARLTON, AMELIA ISLAND CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING. The complimentary fundraiser invites everyone to enjoy holiday cookies, hot chocolate, entertainment including the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival Brass Quintet, and the grand finale of Santa’s arrival, set off with spectacular fireworks.   • Thursday, Nov. 26 

    • Show your thanks for good health at the TURKEY TROT 5K, held at the Racquet Park on Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort.

    • Enjoy traditional favorites, live music, and the Art of Breakfast buffet over Thanksgiving Brunch at OMNI AMELIA ISLAND PLANTATION RESORT. 

    • Celebrate with the Thanksgiving Grand Feast at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island.

  • Friday, Nov. 27 

    • The Historic Fernandina Business Association and Pajama Life will be hosting its annual BLACK FRIDAY PAJAMA PARTY & Costume Party Friday, November 27, at 8AM in downtown Fernandina.

    • Behold the annual HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING CELEBRATION IN THE SHOPS OF OMNI AMELIA ISLAND PLANTATION. From 5-9PM, families can greet Santa, enjoy live music, a bounce house, snow, festive food and drinks and much more. 

  • Friday, Nov. 27 - Friday, Jan. 1 (2016) the FESTIVAL OF TREES will be held in the Shops of Omni Amelia Island Plantation. 10 local charities will display trees on the porches of the various shops around the lake, with 100% of proceeds donated to each charity.

  • Saturday, Nov. 28, at 1PM, Fernandina Beach lights up Front and Centre with the annual CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CELEBRATION

  • Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5, visit six stunning homes along the Amelia Island coastline at the 9TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY HOME TOUR.

  • Thursday - Saturday, Dec. 3-5; 10-13; and 17 to 19: Amelia Community Theatre celebrates the holidays with the classic show, MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET. For more information, click HERE.

 


INAUGURAL EVENT ** DICKENS ON CENTRE

  • Friday, Dec. 4 to Sunday, Dec. 13, experience Christmas Past made Present at DICKENS ON CENTRE in historic downtown Fernandina Beach.

    • Dec 4 - 6 and Dec 11 - 13, Fridays, 5:00-9:00pm; Saturdays 9:00am-8:00pm; Sundays 11:00am-6:00pm.

    • Saint Nick visits Fridays from 7-9PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-12pm and 2-5pm.

    • Readings of Twas’ the Night Before Christmas will occur Fridays and Saturdays at 6:45PM and Sundays at 4PM​

 


  • Saturday, Dec. 5 

    • Children join in a holiday tradition, Breakfast with Santa. Indulge in lavish, buffet adorned with magical gingerbread houses and decorations. More information and pricing HERE. 

    • The CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA at the Fernandina Beach Library, with a "lighting of the Library" , will be followed by indoor crafts and readings.

    • Dress up your pooches in Victorian, holiday themed costumes, and join NHS for the 16TH ANNUAL PARADE OF PAWS down Centre Street.

  • Saturday, Dec 5 - Saturday, Dec 12, audiences relive the magic of "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" AT FERNANDINA LITTLE THEATRE. 

  • Saturday, Dec. 5, 12, 19: SANTA'S STORYBOOK TEA. A Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island tradition; a fireside holiday storybook read by Santa, an afternoon tea with a fantasy buffet of sweet treats, a picture with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, and a collection of Gingerbread Houses.

  • Thursday, Dec. 10, starting at 6PM, the annual Christmas Lighted Parade sponsored by America's Youth, Inc, will take place in downtown Fernandina Beach. 

  • Saturday, Dec. 12, catch the spirit of the season at the Annual Amelia Island BED AND BREAKFAST HOLIDAY COOKIE TOUR OF INNS hosted by the Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Association.

  • Saturday, Dec. 19, children join in a holiday tradition, Breakfast with Santa. Indulge in lavish, buffet adorned with magical gingerbread houses and decorations. More information and pricing HERE. 

  • Monday, Dec. 21 - Tuesday, Dec. 22, Crescendo Amelia Big Band performs "HOW THE BIG BAND STOLE CHRISTMAS: HOLIDAY SHOW WITH CRESCENDO AMELIA". The performance at Amelia Community Theatre features six singers & a 21-piece jazz band.
