Construction of the half-finished The Majesty Building in Altamonte Springs has been idle for years and now the owner of the infamous “I-4 Eyesore” says the building will be completed within a year. Two years was the original completion estimate when the project began in 2001.

The Majesty building will be the tallest in Seminole County and can be seen from many angles in Altamonte Springs. There is even a facebook page started for the unfinished building asking for the building to be torn down.

In 2001, SuperChannel set out to complete the project only using donations. On their website, they say that the building is going to be an 18 story office, retail and broadcast facility, that is designed to serve the business and ministry needs of the Central Florida community.

Last week, the Altamonte Springs city manager said they met with the owners and were told that the project  would be finished within the next year. Lets all hope that this will finally happen.
