SeaWorld's Latest Attraction Ray Rush Will Open At Aquatica This Weekend

A brand-new family raft slide is splashing into Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark on May 12, 2018.

SeaWorld announced Monday that Ray Rush, a 60-foot-tall manta ray-themed water slide, will open at Aquatica this weekend.

The new raft ride will be the first to combine enclosed tube sections, a giant sphere and a drop into an open-air halfpipe, says SeaWorld. The family-friendly ride can hold up to four people who are at least 42 inches tall on a single raft.

The neighboring Walhalla Wave was closed during the ride's construction, but reopened last weekend, says the company.

Triple your fun with the three-in-one thrills of Ray Rush, new at Aquatica Orlando. Ray Rush is the fully-loaded water adventure with three ways to slide, splash and soar like never before. First, water jets launch your raft from zero to awesome in just seconds. Your adventure takes a twisting turn as you spin inside a colossal water sphere. Finally, dive into the giant manta wings, swooping up and down a different path each time. Fill your raft with family and friends for three times the thrills on the exciting Ray Rush at Aquatica, SeaWorld’s waterpark.
