    Miami Subs Grille To Return To Jacksonville

    Miami Subs is returning to Jacksonville with possibly up to four locations.

    The first appears to be in Regency, near one of the locations the former ownership operated along Monument Road which closed in 2003. Miami Grill calls itself “the hottest fast casual concept to hit the market”. The new concept embodies the taste of South Beach and their menu includes Philly cheesesteaks, wings, salads, chicken and burgers, hot and cold subs, gyros, and pitas.

    Sunday, April 2

    1) Run 13.1 and 5k 7 a.m. Test your running skills at the half marathon or opt for a lighter run during the 5k. Both races will start at 7 p.m. on Hogan Street. Presented by First Place Sports. 2) Live music on the Coca-Cola Riverfront Stage by Robert Brown and the Confluent 5 – 9 p.m.

    It's one of the hottest rivalry games of the year! The Florida Gators are playing The Florida State Seminoles this Tuesday @ The Baseball Grounds downtown at 6:00pm! UF batting practice is 3:35 and infield practice is at 5:10. FSU batting practice is at 4:20 and infield practice is at 5:20. The Gators will be in the 1st base dugout and the Seminoles will be in the 3rd base dugout. FSU is "home". Gates open at 3:30 and parking is $10 and located at the sports complex.

    Sharks face Firebirds for 2017 home opener

    JACKSONVILLE –  The (1-0)  Jacksonville Sharks return from their road victory against the Columbus Lions and now set their sights on their home opener against (0-1) Georgia Firebirds at the Shark Tank on Saturday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. for Superheroes & Villians Night. This is the second matchup between the two teams, having previously faced off in a preseason showdown where the Sharks defeated the Firebirds 39-24 before finalizing their roster for the 2017 season.


    On offense, fullback Derrick Ross set the stage for his upcoming season, scoring three touchdowns and rushing for 50 yards in his National Arena League debut. The Sharks will rely on more than just their run game to clinch their first home victory this year as quarterback Tommy Grady will be expected to have another big night following his season debut in Columbus, where Grady threw three touchdowns and passed for 182 yards without allowing a single interception.     Jacksonville Fl - This year, the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair's entertainment lineup promises something for everyone. A broad range of top performers will take the stage during the 12-day event, treating audiences to everything from classic rock, country and blues to golden oldies.  All entertainment will be on the outdoor stage and will be free with admission to the Fair.
