Nitrogen Creamery Is Opening In Jacksonville Beach Today

Nitrogen Creamery is having a grand opening celebration from 2-8 p.m. today at their new location at 1316 3rd Street North in Jacksonville Beach.

Nitrogen Creamery owners Bonny and Chad Abernathy are opening their first brick-and-mortar location today in Jacksonville Beach after two years of operating a food truck.

Customers can pick an ice cream or yogurt base with nearly 15 toppings, including chocolate chips and Oreos, before it’s frozen with liquid nitrogen.

Ice cream made with liquid Nitrogen is amazingly smooth. Ice crystals that are formed during the process of freezing actually create smaller ice crystals. As a result, the texture you get is unbelievably smooth ice-cream.

The owners said that they will continue to operate their food truck focusing more on food items. For more information about Nitrogen Creamery, visit nitrogencreameryjax.com.
