FOUR JAGUARS PLAYERS SELECTED TO THE 2018 PRO BOWL
Four players from the Jacksonville Jaguars have been selected to the 2018 Pro Bowl.
The Jaguars’ four Pro Bowl selections are their most in a season since 1999 (seven players selected) and their four defensive players selected to the Pro Bowl are the most in a season in franchise history. Over the last two seasons, the Jaguars have added four Pro Bowl players to their roster, three via free agency (DT Malik Jackson in 2016, DE Calais Campbell and CB A.J. Bouye in 2017) and one via the draft (CB Jalen Ramsey in the first round of 2016). Bouye and Ramsey are the first Jaguars duo to make the Pro Bowl at the same position in the same year since DT John Henderson and DT Marcus Stroud were selected in 2004.
Tenth-year DE Calais Campbell has been selected to his third Pro Bowl (2014, 2015, 2017). Campbell, who currently owns the Jaguars single-season franchise record with a career-high and AFC-leading 14.5 sacks, was signed as an unrestricted free agent on March 10, 2017. Campbell finished second in the NFL in Pro Bowl fan voting for defensive ends. Campbell joins Tony Brackens (1999) as the only defensive ends to be named to the Pro Bowl in franchise history

Jaguars Vs Falcons - Top 5 Guys To Watch
Atlanta Ga - The Jacksonville Jaguars will face-off against the Atlanta Falcons tonight in the fourth and final preseason game. Both teams will have limited action from their starters, so the biggest question is "Why watch the game? It doesn't mean anything". And you would be correct, but I'm going to give you five players to keep an eye out on tonight.
1. DE Andre Branch The second-year player was supposed to be the ideal guy to fit head coach Gus Bradley's Leo position in his defensive scheme. He hasn't done much of anything during training camp and even less in the games. Although it is unlikely to see a second-round pick cut after one year, if he doesn't do something to show the staff that he's worth keeping, tonight may be the last time you see Branch in a Jaguars uniform.
2. TE Allen Reisner Starting TE Marcedes Lewis has been limited in the past two games, which has given Allen Reisner an oppor... [Read More]
Jaguars Vs Eagles Recap
Jacksonville Fl - The Jacksonville Jaguars lost against the Philadelphia Eagles 31-24. The third preseason game is usually the most important game to see how a team looks and how everything operates and even though the Jaguars lost, there's a lot of positives to take from the game. Chad Henne played ok, but the offense looks good. Henne's first drive went 90 yards and hit WR Justin Blackmon for a 17-yard touchdown. Then on a later drive, Henne hit TE Allen Reisner for an 8-yard touchdown. Photo Courtesy: JaguarsThe running game looks STRONG. Jordan Todman rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown, that included a 63-yard explosive touchdown run. Denard Robinson had 7 carries and 33 yards, but he looked decisive and can be very dangerous. Pass rush flashed, but still not where it needs to be. The defense had two sacks, but also a few QB hurries as well. Eagles QB Michael Vick did not look comfortable and was flushed out of the pocket a few times throughout the night. Photo Courtesy: JaguarsThe Jacksonville defense also cause 3 turnovers; One interception and two forced fumbles. The Jaguars have to capitalize on turnovers and turn them into point. The Jaguars final preseason game is on Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons and by Monday morning,... [Read More]
Steve Miller Band with guests Los Lonely Boys April 2nd at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre!
Steve Miller was a mainstay of the San Francisco music scene that upended American culture in the late ‘60s. with albums like Children of the Future, Sailor and Brave New World, Miller perfected a psychedelic blues sound that drew on the deepest sources of American roots music and simultaneously articulated a compelling vision of what music - and society - could be in the years to come. Then, in the ‘70s, Miller crafted a brand of rock ‘n’ roll music that was polished, exciting and irresistible, and that has dominated radio through today. Hit followed hit in what seemed like an endless flow: “The Joker,” “Livin’ in the USA,” “Take the Money and Run,” “Rock’n Me,” “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Jet Airliner,” “Jungle Love,” and “Abracadabra” among them. To this day, these songs are instantly recognizable when they come on the radio – and impossible not to sing along with. Running through Miller’s catalogue is a combination of virtuosity and songcraft along with melodic vocals and signature guitar riffs. His parents were jazz aficionados – Les Paul was his godfather – so as a budding guitarist and singer, Mill... [Read More]

Luke Bryan Farm Tour Recap
On Saturday October 4th, in Gainesville, Florida I got a chance to check out Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour at Whitehurst Cattle Company. Many people came from Jacksonville and all around to see him. It was a sold out show! Luke Bryan’s farm tour is the highlight of the fall season. He has been to Florida for his Farm Tour before, but his closest concerts were in Tallahassee or Valdosta, Georgia. This year he came to Gainesville so 904 Happy Hour got the chance to see him.
Luke’s show started out with his opening act Cole Swindell. He is known for his songs “Hope You Get Lonely” and “Chillin It”. Cole is also a songwriter for other artists such as Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Craig Campbell, Randy Houser, Scotty McCreery and Thomas Rhett. He even performed “Give Me Some of That” which he wrote for Thomas Rhett. I really enjoyed his performance and I know Jacksonville fans will be seeing him later on this month during Florida Georgia Weekend.
After Cole’s performance, Luke Bryan came out and opened up with “That’s My Kind Of Night”. Luke Bryan came to Jacksonville for Florida Country Superfest, and many fans were blown away by him. The concert ... [Read More]

Historic Main Street Cruise Being Forced To Shut Down
The monthly Historic Springfield Main Street Cruise is being forced to shut down due to city red tape. The event has been happening for over 2 years now and John Wells, a representative from the event has spoken out to why it is being canceled:
"I've been asked to explain what has happened: The city has several stages that they rent out. The only problem is that it's a nightmare trying to get one for the average person. The biggest problem is that when you place the application and post the insurance they won't give you an answer if you are lacking anything. Last year when we rented the stage for the BIG ENGINE show, we were right up to the last day trying to find out if they were going to let us have the stage. Others who have rented these stages have told the same story. One told me they laid some new crap on her 3 hours before the stage was supposed to be delivered and she was jumping through her butt trying to satisfy them. There continue to be new requirements ALL the time. You can't put on a show like this. How can you plan anything if you don't know if you have a stage? This year I was not going to let this happen again. I started out well in advance and reserved one of the stages and filed the application and was to... [Read More]
